About me
Hi, I’m Megan.
For years, I searched for the “right” way to be healthy.
Like so many of us, I found myself overwhelmed by conflicting advice, wondering which expert was right, which diet made the most sense, and whether I was missing the one thing that would determine my future health.
What I eventually discovered changed not only my own health—but the course of my life.
The more I learned about physiology, the more amazed I became by how beautifully the human body is designed. Our bodies aren’t looking for us to outsmart them with more hacks, more rules, or more complexity. They’re asking us to slow down, learn how they’re designed to work, listen to what they’re telling us, and give them the support they need to do what they were designed to do.
That’s the philosophy that guides everything I do today.

The Two Questions That Changed My Life
I didn’t set out to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.
Like so many people, I was busy living life. Health wasn’t something I gave much thought to—until it became personal.
I developed food sensitivities and digestive issues that no one could really explain. I wouldn’t say it turned my world upside down, but it felt out of the blue and definitely stressed me out. Then a woman I knew from high school was diagnosed with terminal colon cancer at just 34 years old. It shook me to my core. Shortly after that, my husband’s cousin died unexpectedly of cardiac arrest at the age of 39. A double dose of shock.
So many things ran through my head. I had digestive issues, could I get colon cancer? What about my husband, he was 37, could his heart stop beating in his sleep?
Despite so many things swirling around my brain, I kept asking myself two primary questions:
How does this happen?
How do I give myself—and the people I love—the best chance at a long, healthy life?
So I started searching for answers.
I read the books. I listened to the podcasts. I followed the experts. I tried to piece together hundreds of disconnected health tips, hoping that if I just learned enough, the whole picture would finally make sense.
Instead, I became a fear-driven health over-consumer.
Every new expert seemed to have a different answer. Every new diet promised to be the missing piece. I felt like I was digging so many shallow little holes, hoping one of them would uncover the “right” answer.
The harder I searched, the more fearful I became. It felt like every new diet or health trend was behind a different door, and every expert insisted theirs was the right one. Behind one door was health and vitality. Behind the others…I wasn’t so sure. The burden was on me to choose the right door, and I was terrified I’d choose the wrong one.
Everything changed when I stopped chasing isolated pieces of health advice and made the conscious decision to instead learn how the body actually works.
I enrolled to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, and for the first time, the puzzle pieces began fitting together. The fear that had driven me for years slowly gave way to peace. It felt like I could breathe again.
I realized that better health wasn’t hiding in the next book, the next supplement, or the next health trend. It was found in understanding the body well enough to know what truly mattered—and then consistently supporting it with simple, foundational habits.
That realization didn’t just change my health.
It changed the course of my life.
It’s why I do this work. I want to help others experience the same peace of mind that comes from finally understanding your body.

Hard-Earned Lessons
Looking back, I can see that every twist and turn in my journey was teaching me something. These are the principles I keep coming back to—the ones that continue to shape my life, my family, and my approach to health.
The body is beautifully designed.
Lasting health comes not from trying to outsmart the body or bend it to our will, but from humbly respecting its design and supporting it accordingly.
Understanding creates freedom.
The more you understand how your body works, the less dependent you become on trends or experts. Understanding gives you the confidence to make thoughtful decisions for the rest of your life.
Simple is where the magic is.
Simple doesn’t mean simplistic. It means focusing on the few things that matter most and doing them well, day after day.
Progress beats perfection.
Perfection isn’t the goal. Building sustainable habits over time and choosing to get back on the horse every time you fall off is.
The body is deeply connected.
The systems of the body don’t work in isolation. Changes in one area ripple throughout the rest of the body—for better or worse.
Health should bring peace.
The goal isn’t to spend your life thinking about health. It’s to understand your body well enough to care for it with confidence—and then get back to living your life.
